Die amerikanische Lyrikerin Louise Glück hat den Nobelpreis für Literatur 2020 gewonnen. Obwohl ich sie bisher nicht kannte, freu ich mich, dass eine Lyrikerin gewonnen hat. Online habe ich dann das Gedicht Aboriginal Landscape von ihr entdeckt, das folgende inspiriende Zeile enthält: „I was like you once, he added, in love with turbulence.“ Über mein Schreiben sinnierend habe ich daraufin ein Gedicht von mir wiederentdeckt, dass ich nun zum Besten geben will.
Skyscape
The landscape is an eye candy. Landscrapers on the ground & skyscrapers in gods eyes.
The shore is a sight for sore eyes.
But who is the scapegoat? And is dandy just another word for candy?
The skyscape can be an escape. But not an excuse for all the abuse.
